A new production and research facility in Atlanta will cost $60 million thanks to investment from defense technology company Anduril Industries. The building will house Area I, a division of the business that creates cutting-edge unmanned aircraft systems. Over the following three years, the move is anticipated to generate 180 additional jobs in Fulton County. Ecopol
To add 130 new employees, the Italian firm Ecopol plans to invest more than $38 million in Spalding County to develop its first North American facility. The facility, which is situated in the eco-industrial park The Lakes at Green Valley, is intended to promote clean manufacturing. Detergents, agrochemicals, cosmetics, and other consumer goods are packaged using water-soluble and biodegradable film made by Ecopol. The facility will be constructed at The Lakes, a 570-acre mixed-use development along GA Highway 16, to offer a secure, user-friendly, and green product. Before construction, Ecopol will be hiring employees in production, maintenance, and administration.
